Today Mireille and I as well as Petter and Susanne began celebrating my 80th birthday!! Wonderful!!

Time and chance — and whatever other forces may be at work in our amazing universe—have been wonderfully good to me.

I have put together a little picture collection of these 80 years, divided into six chapters. If anyone should be interested, I have published it at my80years.net.

Above all, today I simply want to thank everyone along the road who has helped me to fill each day of these 80 years with so much meaning, fullfillment and value. And for each of the events and opportunities through these 80 years that have left me such a treasure of wonderful memories.
