3 gold markers!

Today doctors inserted 3 gold markers into an offending tumor in my body. Giving radiologists something precise to aim at -- and something specific to focus on for the 22 radiation treatments planned through the next couple of months.

Along with a number of other medical procedures the next 2 years, the doctors are confident they can resolve some health/life threatening issues that have recently turned up as somewhat darker 'evening shadows' in this otherwise colorful sunset chapter of my life.

I am glad for understanding and support from my brother Jim in Canada (who has similar issues to deal with) to help me understand and deal with some of the more negative but expected side-effects of treatment and medication.
